- Version information

    The field "Database size" shows the number of genes saved in ArrayMiner's current annotation database. The next number shows how many genes in the current file were matched against the database, and the third number, the number of genes present in the current dataset.

    The field "WWW search engines" shows the number of search engines found by ArrayMiner in the search engine file. (See the appropriate section in the raw data window help). If you are running under GeneSpring, you can use the Refresh Annotation option to copy the queries used in GeneSpring to ArrayMiner. (See the appropriate section of How do I run from GeneSpring help).

- Genetic algorithm status

    The generation field displays the age of the population. The age field is the age of the current best solution (this means the number of iterations a better solution had not been found). The Evaluations done field is the number of complete solution evaluations.

    The Initialization field is the number of initializing done by the genetic algorithm. The mutation field is the number of mutations done by the genetic algorithm. The crossover field is the number of crossovers done by the genetic algorithm. All these values can be reevaluated by using the "Refresh" button.
